Status: 

Currently schoolwork and beta-ing another author, plus somehow trying to write stuff of my own is keeping me too busy to be able to responsibly accept beta requests. Sorry, but try again later!

Beta Profile/Bio:

I will not lie. If your story sucks, I will tell you. Not only will I tell you it sucks, but I will tell you HOW it sucks and HOW to fix it. If you can’t take constructive criticism objectively, then don’t request me as a beta. I try to be tactful and nice — but not to the point of lying to make you feel warm and fuzzy. If you are interested in having me beta your work, I do have some standards. You must have decent spelling, grammar, and style. The plot must be well thought out, and I’d appreciate it if you’d stick to canon if that is what you’re after. If it is meant to be OOC, i don’t mind beta-ing that, but if it is intended to be in character, please do your best. I don’t expect perfection, just a bit of skill here. I AM SWITZERLAND! That means that if you hate jacob, please do not maim his character to better justify your hatred of him. Same goes for Edward.

My Strengths:

I’m quite good at spelling, grammar, and usage. I can find plot holes and style problems, and I can be specific.

My Weaknesses:

I tend to not have a lot of time, and grammar is definitely a weakness for me as well.

Preferences:

I’d enjoy beta-ing … A well thought out AU. A decent all human story that brings the vampire characters into humanness without totally changing who they are. Angst. Romance. Anything in Rosalie, Esme, Carlisle, Jasper, or one of the Denali’s POV — basically, if the character is neglected, I’d love beta-ing a fic that goes into that character.

Not My Cup of Tea:

No slash fic. None. I have no problem with it, but I’d rather stay as close to canon relationships as possible. Jacob/Bella and any Jacob imprints stories are all right — as long as he doesn’t imprint on Bella or a vampire. Please no introducing new species. This means no witches. I will possibly make an exception, but only if the new species fits in with the Twilight Universe. (okay, so witches, but only if they are well thought out and different than stereotypical witches.)
