There’s this thing I should work on. It’s called sleep. Have you heard of it? It sure seems like I missed the memo.
In other news, I’m doing a gallery revamp and really really working hard on backed up homework so that next week things should be back to normal, and perhaps I’ll have time to start writing and such again.
Maybe … I really really hope so …
So list of projects I need to finish up:
- Sequel to Soul Searching – it’s been in progress since LAST APRIL! It’s only 500 words a chapter for goodness sake, why is it so hard to get done?
- The Denali Fic – I have it planned, I have the first chapter nearly done … but I feel guilty for working on it when the sequel to Soul Searching isn’t done.
- Story banners – I want to get banners made for all my fics. I also need to finish all the requests soon.
- New Gallery – speaks for itself
- And then I need to finish up organizing this site, you know, add lists and links and graphics!
Chorus + Band have started up, and I have about a month to learn the violin part for the score of Cinderella. I’m the only violin in our rag-tag band which consists of drums, a keyboard/piano, a flute, an accordion, possibly a saxophone, a bass guitar, and obviously me on a violin! Not the most conventional assortment of instruments — but it’s amazingly fun, and we sound surprisingly good when we know the music! However much fun it is though, it’s a major time drain … staying on top of schoolwork + music + online projects.
I was going to apply for the open staff position at Twilight Novel Novice, but I decided that I really didn’t have enough time to responsibly volunteer for yet MORE obligations.
That’s too bad. We would have LOVED to have you at NNT. But I understand your reason for not applying, what with all the time commitments. (I, too, used to do music in high school … I played violin, too!)
Really, you played violin as well? Nice! I’ve been playing ten years, it’s so fun!
Yeah, I saw the open post and squeed, and then talked to one of my friends about it, and she brought it to my attention that I barely have free time as it is.
I haven’t played since high school, but, yeah, I played violin. I was in the school orchestra until junior year, when I had to give it up because of scheduling conflicts with my choir (I had to prioritize — I chose choir).
If you know anyone else who’d be good for the job at NNT, send ‘em our way!
Ah yeah … I used to take voice lessons, but I had to drop that to keep playing violin
I will most definitely send anyone I find your way!
